Typical application of RSVG in offshore wind power SVG of China Power Investment Corporation Dafeng H3#300MW offshore wind farm onshore centralized control center

According to CCTV, at 13:21 on December 25, 2018, with the successful grid connection of No. 57 wind turbine, 72 sets of wind turbine of State Power Investment Corporation Dafeng H3 offshore wind power project was successfully put into full capacity operation and grid connection. It marks that the farthest offshore wind farm in China has been put into operation, that the project has successfully realized full capacity grid connection, and that it has set three records among similar scale offshore wind power projects, which are commencement, completion and profit in the same year It also accumulates valuable experience for China to develop large capacity and large-scale offshore wind power in the deep-sea field.

In February 2018, Liaoning Rongxin Xingye Power Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Offshore Wind Power Generation Co., Ltd. of State Power Investment Group successfully signed the SVG project of China Power Investment Dafeng H3#300MW offshore wind farm onshore centralized control center.

The project is located in the sea area to the north of Dafeng Liangyuesha in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province. The total installed capacity of the platform is 302.4MW, the distance from the center to the shore is 43km, and the planned sea area is 90km2. 72 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 4.2MW are installed in the platform, and the estimated annual power generation is about 850 million kWh.

There are two sets of 35kV 40M SVG in this RSVG project. Since the operation environment on the offshore platform is with high humidity and salt mist, RSVG adopts water circulation cooling method. In September 2018, two sets of equipment were successfully put into operation.

Different from the previous offshore platform SVG project of RongxinXingye, the project is the offshore wind power project with the farthest distance from the shore in China. The operation experience of this project has laid a solid and mature technical foundation for future offshore platform projects.
